I am thinking about taking a summer course, anyone have any advice on this or can share their experience? Is it intense? Any you'd recommend? Does it feel like "summer school"? I have been warned about "burning out" with too much school & work, so I am on the fence at the moment...
The classes I'm thinking of are Images and Image Management (I see that it hasn't been offered in awhile) or Communications, Values, Attitudes and Behaviors - anyone taken those before?

I'm curious about this too. I just got permission to take a marketing class at the Marshall school, and it sounds great but it goes all summer long! Talk about burnout....what do people think?

I'm thinking of doing 2 marshall courses in summer if i'm allowed, along with 597....i would definitely be burned out if that happens... :p

Great question! Wish some alumni could pipe in on this issue. I'm taking a "business entertainment" class through the film school, although there are a lot of Marshall people in the class, and its excellent. Its taught by William Morris agent Aaron Kaplan and I highly recommend if you have any interest entertainment.

I am taking my research class over the summer, so it looks like we're all in the same boat. At this point, I'm just plugging along. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnell :))))

Congrats on your tunnel light! I think I would be a little more motivated if I were at the end of the program, sigh. I am indeed feeling the burnout and looking forward to not trying to do my reading on my lunchbreak at work this summer. I think what is particularly difficult about summer is that - ITS SUMMER, there are so many disctractions. 6 week classes sound awesome, I think our semsters are too long....
